A Look Back on the 2018 Great Lakes Credit and Collections Association Conference (GLCCA)
This year’s Great Lakes Credit & Collections Association Conference was held in Delavan, Wisconsin at the Lake Lawn Resort, located near Lake Geneva. From May 21 – 23, collections professionals came to hear influential speakers and learn accounts receivables best practices. The conference featured topics such as cryptocurrencies, CFPB, hiring and retention, and goal setting. Plus, new GLCCA officers were installed during an evening ceremony. The 2018 GLCCA Conference was a memorable conference; here are a few things that stick out in my head:
Feeling at home at a Midwest show (Our headquarters are located in Cedar Falls, Iowa.)
After a while, exhibitor friends feel like family.
Bobbie Blue from Renkim was shocked the toilet paper never ended up in his ear!
DJ even put his neck out there and became part of the show.
Despite the rainy weather, some people still managed to take advantage of the beautiful golf courses.
The highlight of the show was Tom Haag installing his son, Tim, as the new GLCCA president. Congrats Tim Haag!
